West Coast Chair, Outreach and Fundraising   – Echo Taylor.

Echo has knowledge in all things health and wellness, but her passion and gift is building relationships with others to help them grow and thrive. She believes her true super power is vulnerability. Through living authentically she believes we can help others feel seen, heard, and supported. After years of coaching gymnastics and cheerleading, Echo became a NASM Personal Trainer in 2010. Following her entrance into the world of fitness she also accumulated certifications in Corrective Exercise, Nutrition, Pre and Post Natal Fitness, and a WCI Life Coaching certification. To become more holistically knowledgeable for her clients she has completed The Body Project Training through NEDA and is training in TRE (Tension, Stress, and Trauma Release Exercise) to further bridge the gap between mental health and physical well-being.

Locally, she is the owner of Boss Studio in Corvallis, Oregon where she works one on one with clients building holistic fitness and health programs. She is also the owner of a wellness consulting business, Alter + Echo. Through this business she works with individuals, groups, and other businesses to hold workshops and courses that promote intentional health as well as body positivity. The goal is to alter previous misnomers about health, and echo that knowledge into our community, peer groups, and families.

Her favorite quote she lives by is: Be who you needed when you were younger. With that, Echo focuses on empowering and supporting young women in their pursuit of body autonomy, strength and joy through movement, and individuality without shame or stigma. Her personal joys are all activities involving nature and experiencing the outdoors.

Echo resides in Portland, Oregon with her three favorite boys: Her partner, dog, and cat.
