The Power Crew supports cancer survivors and caregivers as they transition back into everyday life.

Cancer survivors and caregivers in the Simi Valley area are invited to apply for a powerful, one-day transformational experience hosted by national nonprofit Breaking The Chains Foundation and its signature program Big C New Me.
The Power Crew event— created by cancer survivor Amy Hart and co-directed by Courtney Hope – offers participants a complimentary day of professional styling, confidence-building, and a professional photo shoot designed to help survivors reconnect with their identity, strength, and selfworth after cancer.
After treatment ends, the demands of work, family, and daily responsibilities don’t slow down — even when you’re still rebuilding strength and confidence. Returning to the workplace, managing home life, and navigating expectations can feel overwhelming.
Power Crew provides professional hair, makeup, and photography experiences designed to help participants feel confident, seen, and ready for what’s next.
Caregivers are equally supported. Their constant care, emotional labor, and exhaustion often go unnoticed — and this day is for them, too.
